We're Thomas and Angela, a married photographer and videographer team and the heart of Thomas Kart Studio. Unlike traditional setups where a photographer and a videographer work separately and quietly compete for the same moment, we work as one. We move together. We communicate without words. While one of us captures the still, the other captures the motion — and together we create a complete narrative of your day, with nothing missed.
After 20 years and a wall of international awards, the craft is second nature — which frees us to focus entirely on you. We know Koh Samui intimately: its hidden beaches, its best light, and the exact 20-minute window when the sunset turns gold. That's local knowledge a flown-in photographer simply can't match.

A 30% retainer and a short agreement secure your date. International cards, bank transfer or PromptPay — your choice.
We arrive, blend in and capture everything. A teaser follows in 1–3 days, your full gallery in 1–2 weeks on higher tiers.

Our wedding photography starts at 10,000 THB for an intimate one-hour session and scales by the hours and team you need, up to our 250,000 THB multi-day Platinum package. Cinematic videography starts at 38,000 THB. We publish our full price list openly — most couples land between the Basic and Premium tiers. Send us your date on WhatsApp and we'll send the complete price list and a tailored recommendation straight back.
Absolutely — most of our couples book entirely from overseas before they ever land. We handle everything by WhatsApp and email, suggest the best locations and timings for your style, and answer every question before you arrive. By the time you step off the plane, the plan is already set and you can simply relax and enjoy the island.
Faster than almost anyone on the island. On our higher tiers you'll receive a teaser in as little as 1–3 days and your full online photo gallery within 1–2 weeks. Our Basic tier delivers within around two months, and cinematic films follow shortly after. We'll confirm exact timelines for your package up front.
A 30% retainer based on your invoice secures your date and our team. The remaining balance is paid on the day of the shoot. We accept international cards and bank transfer, as well as Thai bank transfer and PromptPay for couples already in the region.
Yes, and it's a core part of what we do — not an afterthought. As a husband-and-wife photo-and-film team we capture stills and cinematic video together, seamlessly, plus licensed drone footage for sweeping aerial views. You can book photo only, film only, or both as one coordinated package.
Yes. After 20 years here we know Koh Samui's beaches, viewpoints, resorts and villas intimately, and we'll recommend the perfect spot. We'll advise on any access or location considerations for your venue, and we travel anywhere on the island — and to Koh Phangan and Koh Tao on request.
Tropical weather can be dramatic and beautiful. We watch the forecast closely, build in flexibility around the light, and know plenty of sheltered spots that still look stunning. A passing shower often produces some of the most atmospheric images of the day — and we adapt the schedule around it so you never feel rushed.
Koh Samui is beautiful year-round. The driest, sunniest months generally run December through April, while the green season later in the year brings dramatic skies and softer light (and fewer crowds). Whenever you visit, we plan your timing around the golden hours — just tell us your dates and we'll advise.
Yes — we work in English first and foremost, which is exactly why international honeymooners and destination-wedding couples choose us. Communication is clear and easy from your first message to your final gallery, with no translation worries on your big day.
Definitely. Alongside full weddings we love photographing elopements, honeymoon and couple sessions, surprise proposals, engagement and pre-wedding shoots, and family holidays on the island. Many couples book a relaxed couple or family session during their stay — one of the best souvenirs you can bring home from Koh Samui.
Of course. We respect that some clients prefer privacy, and our Platinum package includes an optional NDA / non-publication agreement so your images and film are never shared publicly. Just let us know and we'll keep everything completely confidential.
The most popular dates — especially in the dry season and around holidays — book up months ahead, and our Platinum tier is limited to just two bookings per month. If you have a date in mind, send it over as early as you can so we can hold it for you before it's gone.
